i cooked my FIRST MEAL EVER.

as in, totally with no help, the entire meal.

dinner, in fact. which i think is the most important meal of the day. AND the hardest to prepare.

so. for the side, i made butter-baked portabello mushrooms topped with garlic, cheese and bacon.

and for the the main course i made a club sandwich with wholemeal bread. first deck, cheese, eggs, bacon. second deck, tomatoes, butterhead lettuce and beef pastrami.

needless to say, i'm rather pleased with myself.

the mushrooms were delicious, if i do say so myself...

the sandwich was a lil too dry for my taste. i'll fry some onions and mushrooms and throw them in next time.

yes yes, i know you want to say it. it's chris' loss for not snapping me up.

ohoh, and i really hope the en-bloc goes through. 74%, just need 6% more! mama promised a REALLY nice present if it comes true (:
